"Vigan City a Journey Through Time and Heritage"

 The moment I went to Vigan City again with my friends, I was greeted by the charm of Vigan's beauty I was so astonished to see the gorgeous view. The streets were lined with vintage houses, calesas, and smiling locals selling souvenirs. 

Our first stop was Calle Crisologo and honestly, it felt like walking into a Spanish movie set! The famous Calle Crisologo represents the city’s colonial past, while its people continue to uphold traditional practices such as pottery-making and weaving. The  Burnay Jars and Abel  Ilocos textiles are tangible links to centuries of craftsmanship. Then I went to a pottery shop where I tried making my own Burnay Jar it was harder than it looked, but fun! Later, I stopped by a weaving center to watch women create colorful Abel Iloco fabrics. Their patience and skill amazed me.

Vigan thrives as a tourist destination while maintaining its authenticity. Local ordinances protect historical structures, and cultural festivals like the Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival celebrate the city’s heritage. Tourism not only boosts the economy but also strengthens cultural pride among residents

“Flourishing Through Challenges: A Reflection on My Second Quarter”

This second quarter has been a meaningful period of learning and growth for me. I have gained deeper knowledge in different subjects, especially in understanding how lessons.  connect to real-life situations. I discovered that learning becomes more exciting when I participate actively in class discussions, group projects, and hands on activities. I also learned to manage my time better and to balance academics with personal responsibilities. These discoveries helped me realize the value of patience, consistency, and collaboration in achieving success.

However, I also faced several challenges during this quarter. One of the biggest struggles was balancing multiple requirementsp and deadlines from different subjects. Sometimes, I felt overwhelmed and exhausted trying to finish everything on time. There were also lessons that I found difficult to understand at first, which made me doubt my abilities. But instead of giving up, I reminded myself that challenges are part of the learning process and that every mistake is an opportunity to improve.

To overcome these challenges, I started organizing my schedule more effectively. I made to-do lists, set priorities, and managed my study time more wisely. I also asked help from teachers and classmates whenever I needed clarification. Studying with friends and watching educational videos online also made difficult topics easier to understand. Most importantly, I stayed motivated by focusing on my goals and remembering why I wanted to do my best in school.

Moving forward, I will continue to improve my study habits and maintain a positive attitude toward learning. I plan to become more responsible, proactive, and open to new opportunities that will help me grow both academically and personally. I will use the lessons and experiences from this quarter as motivation to do even better in the next one. With determination, discipline, and faith, I believe that I can overcome any challenge and achieve my goals.

 

My insights during the teachers day celebration

Teachers give more than lessons from books. They teach patience, discipline, and responsibility. They spend long hours preparing lessons, checking papers, and helping students who struggle. Teachers day is one of the most memorable moments that me and my classmates had ever experienced, our teachers play a essential role in our lives as students they help us understand our lessons. In this national teachers day celebration we celebrate our teachers as a remembrance to our hardworking teachers 

 Through the Teachers’ Day celebration, I realized how much effort and patience teachers give every day just to ensure that we understand our lessons and develop good values. Their sacrifices but in this teachers day like this allow us to recognize their passion and commitment. Seeing their smiles and cries during the program made me appreciate even more how they continue to inspire us despite challenges.

Without them us students will struggle in our life so we must respect and love them as they help us in our journey in our lives

In conclusion, this teachers day celebration reminds us of respecting and appreciating our hardworking teachers. It’s our time to thank them through actions love and care. Our teachers are real heroes in our school, they inspire us to pursue more in our studies as they guide us in our chapters in our lives. 

 Climate change has become one of the most pressing issues of our time, and the Philippines is among the countries most vulnerable to its effects. The main reasons for sudden or progressive environmental changes here include global warming caused by greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, and unsustainable land use. These human activities accelerate natural disasters such as stronger typhoons, flooding, and landslides, which devastate communities across the country. Rising sea levels and extreme weather patterns are already threatening the livelihoods of millions of Filipinos.

Despite these challenges, the resiliency of Filipinos has been remarkable. Time and again, after experiencing devastating storms or droughts, communities come together to rebuild homes, support one another, and adapt to new ways of living. Many Filipinos have also taken proactive steps in preparing for disasters by organizing local disaster risk reduction plans and engaging in sustainable practices like tree planting, waste management, and renewable energy initiatives. This collective strength reflects the Filipino spirit of “bayanihan,” or unity and cooperation, in the face of adversity.

Still, resiliency should not mean enduring endless hardship. There must be stronger efforts at both local and national levels to reduce the impacts of climate change. Government action, international cooperation, and everyday choices like reducing waste, conserving energy, and protecting our natural resources can all contribute to a more sustainable future. While Filipinos are resilient, real change requires prevention and adaptation strategies to ensure a safer and healthier environment for future generations. 

In the end, the resiliency of Filipinos is both an inspiration and a call to action . While it is admirable that people can rebuild after storms,floods, and it is even more important is to create a society that is prepared on every disasters that there facing. Climate change is an global issue but we Filipinos rise to face all the challenges that this issue gave us. With unity and strength we can face this challenges through the help of our teamwork.
